论文题目: Method Optimization for Qualitative Analysis
of Small Molecules by GC-TOF-MS
一、论文选题的理由或意义The reason or significance of the topic selection
Gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC–MS) is a mature technology with valid perspectives for a successful application in metabolome studies. It provides a very convenient tool to avoid the usual more complex procedures necessary to separate metabolites in sufficient pure amounts. An analytical strategy involving the use of GC–MS has certainly the advantage to make possible the identification with an excellent sensitivity and reproducibility for compounds occurring in complex matricesGC.
Time of flight mass spectroscopy (TOF-MS) analyzer has been used in diverse pharmaceutical applications as well. GC-TOF-MS rapid accumulation of spectra also leads to excellent reproducibility and better signal-to-noise characteristics, and makes full use of small quantities of sample. It can run in the full scan mode or selected ion monitoring mode like normal GC-EIMS.
Nowadays, GC-TOF-MS has been popular in the determination of metabolites from various bio-samples, such as plasma, serum, urine, cell extracts and animal tissue. By designing experiment of method optimization, the application of GC-TOF-MS in qualitative analysis of small molecules can be trained during this semester. And it may helps further study of detection and determination of target compounds.
